The ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Translational Research Service Center (TRSC) provides local support and resources for translational research activities at South. The University of South Alabama is one of eleven partner network institutions of the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS).
³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ is proud to be part of this extraordinary regional initiative to address the disproportionate disparity and disease in the Deep South. This regional effort will accelerate discovery and improve human health for the residents of this region and translate to broader applications across the nation.
The ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ TRSC is comprised of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ basic and clinical science researchers and administrators who provide research support services and facilitate training, professional development and collaboration. The ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ TRSC is supported by the at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). The CCTS is funded by the of the National Institutes of Health under award number UL1
