Fall 2025 Move Out
For Fall 2025 residents WHO DO NOT INTEND to be enrolled for Spring 2026 and will be moving out of the residence halls over the Winter Break, please read below:
Contact your Resident Assistant in advance to schedule a checkout time.
Your checkout time must be BEFORE December 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM (noon).
- GRADUATING IN DECEMBER? Please submit a Late Stay Request online in your My³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏHousing portal under the 'Requests' menu.

If you decided DURING the Winter Break that you will NOT be enrolling for the Spring 2026 semester, you need to contact the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Housing office (251-341-4663 or housing@southalabama.edu), remove your belongings from your room, and then return your room key to the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Housing office. You will be charged a daily rate until your room key is returned*. The office will be open Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM until December 18, 2025.

*Any cancellations of the Academic Year 2025-2026 housing contract during the Winter Break period will subject the student to a $20 per night charge equal to the number of nights of occupancy of Winter Break (not applicable to December graduating students).
The ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Housing office will be closed starting at 5:00 PM on December 18, 2025, until 8:00 AM on January 5, 2026. Contact the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Housing on-call team by calling your respective Community Office to return your room key after removing your belongings. You will be charged a daily rate until your room key is returned*.

- There will be a campus-wide power outage for electrical maintenance scheduled to take
place on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. In the case of inclement
weather, a reserved backup date for the outage is set for Sunday, December 21, 2025.
- The 68 Ventures Bowl will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Football game day parking
restrictions begin on Tuesday, December 16, at 5:00 PM. As a reminder, all residents
should be mindful of where to park their vehicles before and during Game Days.
- See the parking map linked . If you have a vehicle parked in Lots 101, 102, 103, 105, 203, 204, 205, 206, 307,
or 311, it must be moved by Tuesday, December 16, at 5:00 PM. Any vehicles remaining
in these lots after this time will be towed at the owner's expense.
- If other residential lots are full, after 3:45 PM on Tuesday, December 16, you may
also relocate your vehicle to Lot 804.

Beginning at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, December 16, you may relocate your vehicle to one of the other residential lots: Stokes/Delta 3/4/5 (lot 306), Azalea/Camellia/Epsilon/Delta 6 (lot 305), or Gamma (lot 303). Residents may resume parking in the gravel lots on Friday, December 18, at 8 am.
- Please be aware that on Wednesday, December 17, from 8:00 AM to approximately 8:00 PM, all residential students must enter campus through Entrance #3 (Jaguar Blvd at Student Recreation Center). No entrance will be permitted at Entrance #1 or Entrance #2. You must have your residential or Gamma parking decal visible. Traditions at South residents may only park at either the Traditions at South building lot or the auxiliary lot across West Dr.

or 311, it must be moved by Tuesday, December 16, at 5:00 PM. Any vehicles remaining

Graduating residents may request to stay late after December 12, 2025, if they have an academic/university-related need to remain on campus. Find out more about staying late and how to submit your request. You should be prepared to check-out properly in person within 48 hours following graduation to avoid additional charges.
